This policy explains what UK Imports Inc collects when you use the Marketplace, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run an auction marketplace and do not sell your personal information.
To operate the Marketplace: authenticate you, run auctions, deliver messages and notification emails (verification, replies, auction results), show sellers the contact details you chose to share, and protect the platform from abuse. We share personal information only with the seller you transact or correspond with, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, which hosts the Marketplace and delivers email), and where the law requires.
You can access and correct your profile at any time from your account page. You can delete your account yourself — Account → Delete account — which permanently removes your profile, watchlist, sessions, and message threads; bids you placed remain in auction histories but are anonymized. California residents have the right to know, correct, and delete personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights; the account tools above satisfy requests to know and delete, and we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Data is retained while your account exists and deleted or anonymized when you delete it. Sessions expire after 30 days. Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2; session tokens are stored only as hashes; traffic is HTTPS-only.
The Marketplace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
